Talking points for the reactivation of the United States Civilian Conservation
Corp...
*The CCC was and would be again a cost-effective and accountable government program that would
provide real green job creation and impart on those who would enroll would learn the work ethic and conservation ethic for
our unskilled young men and women from the age of 17 to 26 years. *Can be the first job opportunity for our young adults who
now face double-digit unemployment.
*Can perform labor intensive-low tech green job of planting
trees to perform high tech installation and maintenance of PVC panels and wind generators on our public lands.
*Can give the military a practical and peaceful mission on our soil.
* Would give our young adults a alternative
national service. *Can be adopted in other countries to give us all a chance to survive rapid climate change.
*Reactivation can be or is a real non-partisan platform issue in the 2010 Congressional mid-term elections. End with giving the website as a reference WWW dot WE CAN TAKE IT dot ORG Also mention the online petition. If they are not in then leave a message on their voice mail.
Again be sure your call was recorded. Then call the President's Comment Line at (202) 546-1111. And leave your message with

pm PST, Dec 10, Barbara Harsh, California TO: Congress & Congressional
Leaders & SubCommittee Members You still have American citizens that do no fear hard work, need to be raised out of poverty
and before all trust between the People and the Government are lost where there is still hope. The reactivation will do so much to rebuild our Nation, strength the hope of our People and help
restore the economy at below main street levels. We need a groundswell of voters to understand the value of a global reach
on our planet is necessary but not exclusive from Nation building here too! Fix the levies, remediate the land and water,
build and repair brick&mortar infrastructures. Continue the building through our IT & security infrastructure concurrently.
This is a political kudo for whomever gets this new bill written and passed! # 568: 8:20 pm PST, Nov 17, Cheryse Wellman,
Ohio There is no question that the state of our environment is bordering the precipice of disaster on so many
fronts, and the cost of inaction will continue to bear heavy on generations to come. The time is now to make progressive transistions
to securing the welfare of our planet, its species, and future generations. Reimplementing CCC would be a great step in the direction of securing a sustainable future.
